    A little bit about me

Beyond my professional life as BCBA and Interpreter, I am also a devoted and caring parent. My main goal is to foster genuine connections and provide quality care for the most needed.

I find great fulfillment in empowering individuals, and it brings me immense joy to see them grow. Together, side by side trying to listen and understand each other, I strive to journey towards meaningful outcomes toward that which is greater.

A little bit More about me.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Social Policy, Health, and Welfare Interventions, both earned at the esteemed University of Utrecht in The Netherlands. Building upon this solid academic foundation, I pursued further education in Behavior Analysis, culminating in my certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from the Florida Institute of Technology in the US. Additionally, I obtained a credential in Medical Interpretation through the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters in California, United States. This diverse educational trajectory, complemented by my extensive professional experience, has equipped me with a robust knowledge from Social research and science, Behavior Analysis, Organizational Management and Medical Interpreting.

    Expertise

Drawing from a wealth of experience in social work spanning nine years, I’ve had the privilege of working with various demographics groups including teenagers, individuals with disabilities, elderly individuals, and adolescents struggling with addiction. This was followed by eight years of devoted practice in Behavior Analysis, during which I’ve had the honor of assisting numerous individuals and families who were severely impacted by their diagnosis in effecting positive behavior changes within their lives and communities. This journey prompted me to pursue further education in specialized domains like Health and Life Coaching to understanding further the human intrinsic needs and motives. I also enjoyed learning and practicing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to understand the human emotions and their interactions with their private events. These additional experiences not only enhance my support to families but also refine the effectiveness of my implementation and evaluation methodologies, all while upholding the highest ethical standards and evidence-based approaches for better service delivery.

    Believing is the first steps

I hold the belief that everyone deserves a form of support as we cannot live without  each other. Moreover, I am deeply committed to the notion that personal growth is a transformative journey in each phase of life. I offer guidance, aiding individuals in making informed decisions and taking purposeful steps towards greater awareness, accomplishment, and progress.

I also believe that providing high-quality care can go hand-in-hand with being kind and caring towards each other. This approach underpins my ability to provide treatments and services ranging in levels of support, all firmly rooted on a foundation of understanding, care and respect.

A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated of the latest advancements in Behavior Analysis and Medical Interpreting stands as an indicator for delivering quality services. This dedication enables me to implement practices firmly grounded in scientifically validated approaches, ensuring standards for care quality.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I enthusiastically participate in community events, driven by a genuine curiosity and a desire to make meaningful connections. I share a common goal of nurturing bonds, initiating positive changes to our environment, and cultivating progress within our community. Collaboration is key to acting as a pathway to deepen connections and provide additional resources for care. These endeavors align with the core values that guide my practice, guaranteeing the continuation of outstanding care for others.
